Food Fact: The History and Cultural Impact of Burgers
The hamburger, a quintessential American dish, has a rich history that dates back to the late 19th century. Reflective Question:
What’s your favorite hip hop music video, and how has it influenced your appreciation of the genre? Share your thoughts with us!
The Pharcyde ‘Drop” comes to mind
The Pharcyde definitely lived up to their name sonically and with their visual content. The Coup would be decendants from their creative tree,in my opinion.
Too many favorites to name but when I first saw Run-DMC featuring Aerosmith “Walk This Way” on MTV, my understanding of the global power of Hip-Hop expanded. The high-energy, unexpected and epic collaboration, and impact of that song along with the Rock concert style visual kicked the door in for other Hip-Hop artist mega-collaborations and created cross-over fans.
I’m from the shiny suit era.. the music was fun and not as heavy and the vibe was loud and bright! We looked forward to those videos. It is unfortunate that the legacy is tainted.
